Overview

Heedle helps you notice how you use AI — so it sharpens your thinking instead of quietly eroding it.

Think with AI. Don't let it think for you. Heedle is a quiet companion that sits alongside ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini and reflects the shape of your AI sessions back to you — so you can tell whether the way you use AI is building your thinking or quietly replacing it. It never reads your words. Heedle looks only at the structure of your sessions — their timing, their length, the moments you respond to — never the content of what you type or what the AI replies. That difference is the whole point. — YOU CHOOSE HOW HEEDLE SHOWS UP — When you start, you pick one intention, and Heedle takes that shape: REFLECT — Passive and quiet. Heedle observes the shape of your sessions and mirrors it back: a one-tap check-in as a session winds down, and a calm reflection of your recent patterns whenever you open it. PAUSE — A mindful beat. Before a session begins, and once during a long unbroken stretch, Heedle offers a brief moment to ask whether this is the session you meant to start. Never a wall, never a lecture. ACT — Sharpen the session itself. Heedle offers a well-timed prompt from its library — or from yours — that changes how the AI engages with you: less flattery, more reasoning shown, your own thinking asked for first. — THE LIBRARY — Click the Heedle pebble on any AI page to open a searchable library of primers — short, tested prompts like "Straight Talk" (no flattery, honest disagreement) and "Me First" (the AI asks what you think before answering). Copy one in a click, or insert it straight into the chat. Add your own. Your best prompts, frameworks, and systems live in the same library — select text anywhere on the page and add it in two clicks. Your prompts stay on your device and are never transmitted. Ever. — WHAT HEEDLE IS NOT — Heedle is not another AI. It does not chat with you, coach you, or give you advice. It does not score you, rank you, or shame you. No streaks, no number to chase. It is a mirror, not a co-pilot — and it sits on your side of the table. — YOUR PRIVACY IS PARAMOUNT — Heedle records structural signals only — timings, lengths, and your one-tap answers. Never the content of your conversations, and never the prompts you save. Sharing anything with us is optional and off by default. Heedle works fully on your own device whether or not you ever turn sharing on. No account, no email, no name required. We do not sell data, run ads, or build advertising profiles. Exactly what's collected is spelled out in our privacy policy, and our Chrome Web Store data disclosures are enforced by Google. — WHO IT'S FOR — For anyone who uses AI a lot and wants to keep their own thinking sharp: knowledge workers, students, writers, researchers — anyone who has ever finished an AI session and wondered what it was doing to them. Remain the Thinker.
