Overview
What's hot in AI right now, ranked by how many sources cover it — and who else covers the story you're reading.
HeatPulse puts the hottest AI news in Chrome's side panel — ranked by how many independent sources cover each story — and, when you ask, shows who else covers the article you are reading. WHAT YOU GET • Pulse — today's hottest AI stories with HeatPulse's own short summaries, a "why it matters" line and a heat score. Filter by models, products, industry, papers, benchmarks, policy or tips. • Who else covers this story? — on a news article, right-click → "Who else covers this story? (HeatPulse)" (or click the HeatPulse icon and open "This page"), then press one button: you get the matching HeatPulse story and every outlet covering it (English, German and French sources), with your article marked "you are here" when it is one of them. • Daily — the latest daily AI briefing. • Search — find stories by topic, company or model. • Right-click "Search HeatPulse for …" on selected text searches in the panel; "hp" + your words in the address bar opens the HeatPulse search page. • A new-stories count on the toolbar icon — checks every 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours, or turn it off. • Light, dark or system theme. Keyboard shortcuts (j / k, /, Esc) that you can turn off. • The last Pulse list you loaded stays readable offline. PRIVACY, IN PLAIN WORDS • The extension sees the current page's address and title only when you click its icon or its right-click menu — never in the background, and never your browsing history. • "Who else covers this story?" sends that page's address to HeatPulse and, only if there is no exact match, its title — and only when you press the button. Searches send the words you searched for. Titles and search words are processed by our AI search provider (currently via OpenRouter) to find matching stories; like any request, they may appear briefly in server logs. The address-bar shortcut opens heatpulse.cc/search with your words in its address, like searching on the site. • No account, no analytics, no tracking. What you read or search is never sold and never used for advertising or profiling; titles and search words are shared only with the AI search provider that runs the search. • Your settings stay in your browser (and in your Google account if you use Chrome sync). Privacy policy: https://heatpulse.cc/privacy#extension ABOUT HEATPULSE HeatPulse (heatpulse.cc) reads dozens of sources around the clock — AI-company blogs, tech media in English, German and French, arXiv and EU policy feeds — groups the coverage of each real-world event and ranks it by multi-source heat. Summaries are written for HeatPulse; every story links to the original reporting.
