HeaderPilot helps developers switch HTTP request and response headers for local testing. Features: • Colored profile pills for fast switching • Import and export profile JSON (multi-file + paste) • Request and response header editing • URL filters and redirects • Append mode and active-tab-only option • Pause injection with one toggle • Multiple UI themes Intended use: Development and QA only. Enable a profile when you need specific headers; disable when finished. Permissions: • storage — save profiles locally • declarativeNetRequest — apply header/redirect rules • optional host access — requested when you enable the extension; use URL filters to limit scope No remote code. No analytics. Data stays on your device unless you export it.
