HeaderForge
Overview
Open-source, privacy-first HTTP header manager. Profiles, domain rules, and zero telemetry.
HeaderForge is an open-source HTTP header manager for Chrome and Edge (Manifest V3). It lets you add, modify, and remove request headers on the fly — such as Authorization, Accept-Language, or custom API keys — with zero telemetry and no data leaving your browser. What it’s for API and environment testing (dev / QA / local) Quickly swapping tokens and headers without changing app code Applying rules to selected domains, or using All sites mode Optional profiles when you need separate configurations Why install it Privacy first: no analytics, no telemetry — everything stays in chrome.storage.local Full control: toggle the extension and individual headers with one click Transparency: open-source on GitHub with a clear privacy policy Practical UX: live edits from the popup, JSON import/export, and local backup HeaderForge is a trustworthy, local alternative for developers who need a simple header tool — no account, no cloud, and no unnecessary tracking permissions.
