HeaderControl

)Overview
Add, override, and remove request headers per profile.
Header Control is an HTTP header editor for Chrome: add, override, or remove request headers, organized into named profiles you can switch between with one click. It runs on Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API instead of the older webRequest approach, so header rules are enforced natively by Chrome itself - the extension's own code never sits in the request path and never reads your traffic. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Create profiles, each with its own URL pattern and header rules - Set or remove individual request headers, including long values like JWTs and auth tokens - Scope a profile to a URL pattern and exclude specific domains from it - Switch profiles instantly from the toolbar popup, or pause header modification entirely with one click without losing your setup - Export your profiles to a JSON file and import them again, for backups or sharing a setup with a teammate WHO IT'S FOR Developers testing APIs against different auth tokens, simulating headers a backend or CDN would add, or reproducing header-dependent bugs without touching server code. PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY Header Control requests access to all sites at install, since declarativeNetRequest rules need it to apply your header profiles as you browse. It uses no content scripts, reads no page content, and sends no data anywhere - everything stays local to Chrome, on your device.
