)Overview
Modify HTTP request headers with configurable URL-based rules.
Header Override is a lightweight developer tool for modifying HTTP request headers while testing websites, APIs, and local development environments. Create rules from the extension popup, choose a header name and value, and scope each rule with a URL filter. Rules are saved locally in Chrome and applied automatically with Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API. Features: - Add custom request headers. - Enable or disable individual rules. - Scope rules to specific URLs or patterns. - Add optional comments to document each rule. - Manage multiple header rules from a simple popup. - Store all rules locally in your browser. - No analytics, tracking, remote code, or external servers. Header Override is intended for developers, QA testers, and technical users who need a quick way to test behavior that depends on custom request headers.
