Overview

Simple block site extension: a website blocker with a focus timer. Stay focused, limit screen time and block websites on Chrome.

Block Site: Focus is a simple block site extension for Chrome that keeps distracting websites closed while you work, study or rest. Add an address to your list, and next time it opens you see a calm screen instead. No account, nothing to pay for. Most people install a website blocker for one reason: to stay focused on what matters. Block Site: Focus gives you three ways to do it. Keep distractions closed always, on a schedule, or only while a focus timer is running. 📌 How to block a site on Chrome in three steps 1. Click the extension icon and press Block next to the page you are on right now. 2. Or type any address in the field and press plus, and the site blocker adds it to your list. 3. Open that address again and you land on a calm page with Back and Close tab buttons. ➤ Block sites on Chrome your way ▸ Close a whole site with its subdomains, or just one section, such as the news pages of a big portal. ▸ Catch every address that contains a word you pick, so mirrors and copies are caught too. ▸ Keep exceptions: shut the sections that eat your time and still allow the one page you need. ▸ Switch to allow-list mode, where everything stays closed except the sites you trust. It turns this block site browser extension into a strict focus mode for exams and deadlines. Whole categories close with one tap: social media and video while you work, adult and gambling sites on a shared computer. A ready list of popular sites adds each one with a plus. ⏱️ A focus timer for deep work It runs like a pomodoro timer. Pick 25, 50 or 90 minutes or your own length and press Start. While a focus session runs, your list stays active even if the main switch is off or it is outside your schedule. The toolbar icon shows the minutes left. When time is up, a gentle notification tells you how many minutes of deep work you did. 1️⃣ Strict session. Nothing can be unblocked until the timer ends. You can still add new addresses, but you cannot remove them or stop early. 2️⃣ Password. Set one, and the extension asks for it before blocking is turned off, a session is stopped or an address is removed. 3️⃣ Honest limits. A password stops a quick decision in a weak moment. The extension itself can still be switched off on the chrome://extensions page. 🗓️ Schedules that match your week - Choose days and hours, for example weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00. - Night hours are fine too: set 22:00 to 7:00 and the web blocker keeps going after midnight. - Pick focus sessions only, and your list rests until you start a study timer or a work timer. 📊 See where your time goes Time on websites is counted only while a tab is on your screen and you are at the computer. The stats tab shows today's total, your focus time and the sites and categories that took most of it, each with a Block button. It is an easy way to limit screen time without guessing, and a simple focus app for more finished work. 💡 Small things that save time • Right-click any page or link and choose Block this site. • The page you land on remembers where you were going and returns the tab once the rule is lifted. • Export your lists and schedule to a file, then import them on another computer. • It works in Incognito once you allow it on the extensions page. 🔒 Private by design Your lists, schedules and stats stay in this browser. No ads, no trackers and no pop-ups asking you to rate or upgrade. Block Site: Focus uses its access only to show its own calm screen in place of the page you closed. This internet site blocking works inside Chrome itself, with no proxy and no extra app. ❓ Quick answers How can I block sites without signing up? Install the extension and add addresses to the list.
