Skip Wait is a free Chrome extension that helps you bypass countdown timers and clear delay pages on supported link shorteners, safelinks, and file hosts. On matching pages it either opens the destination right away or finishes the on-page unlock steps so you reach the final URL or file sooner. No account, subscription, or paid plan is required. There is nothing to configure for supported sites. Pages outside supported short-link and delay flows are left alone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OVERVIEW -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mandatory pauses, “please wait” screens, and multi-step unlock chains slow down ordinary browsing. This product targets that single problem: on supported flows it removes or completes the unlock delay so you spend less time babysitting the page. Open a supported link as you normally would. The content script detects the page type and runs the matching handler. Some sites allow an instant jump to the destination. Others still need gate unlocks, mediator hops, or timed steps—in those cases the handler completes the supported path for you instead of leaving the continue button or delay UI untouched. Coverage is site-specific and grows over time.
