Overview
Save web pages to Knowledge Commons, with their images, tables and citation.
Save the page you're reading to Knowledge Commons: the article as you see it, with its images, diagrams, tables and citation. Knowledge Commons turns meetings, documents and reading into a shared, searchable knowledge base. The Web Clipper brings the web into it. • Clip the article, not the clutter. The clipper keeps the text, headings, images, diagrams and tables, and drops menus, ads and sidebars. • Works on pages you're signed in to. It reads the page as it appears in your browser, so pages behind logins and paywalls you have access to clip properly. • Keeps the citation. The title, author, site, publication date and link travel with every clipping. • Private by default. Every clipping lands in your own Personal Space. Tick one or more projects to file a copy where your team can find it. • Becomes part of your knowledge base. In a project, a clipping is background material that the Knowledge Commons assistant can search, cite and connect to your meetings and documents. • Fast. Right-click any page and choose "Clip page to Knowledge Commons" to save straight to your Personal Space, or press Alt+Shift+K to open the clipper. • PDFs too. When the browser is showing a publicly available PDF, the clipper saves the PDF itself. • Bring your own server. Organisations that run their own Knowledge Commons can point the clipper at it in Settings. The clipper reads a page only when you clip it, and sends it only to your Knowledge Commons account. A Knowledge Commons account is required; sign up at https://knowledgecommons.ai.
