ProofSearch — Search Trust Layer
Overview
Local-first trust scoring for search results. Rank, filter, and explain which results look worth clicking.
ProofSearch adds an independent trust layer to search results, helping you judge which links look worth opening before you click. It works on Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo by adding local trust scoring, clear result explanations, ranked sources, history tools, and Scam Aware checks directly into the search page. ProofSearch is built for people who want a less AI-led search experience and more control over how results are judged. Instead of replacing search, it sits on top of normal search results and gives you extra signals about authority, relevance, review value, commercial bias, source quality, and possible risk. Key features: • Trust scoring for search results ProofSearch gives supported search results a clear score so you can quickly compare which links look stronger. • Clear reasons Each result can show short explanations for why it scored well or poorly, such as official source signals, review signals, commercial bias, weak snippets, or destination clarity. • Top Source panel Quickly view the strongest ranked sources from the current search page without losing your place. • Scam Aware checks ProofSearch highlights possible risk signals such as suspicious domains, punycode, risky wording, redirect-style URLs, pressure-selling language, and weak reputation signals. • Search history ProofSearch can remember local search/result activity so you can revisit useful pages and manage your own search trail. • Local-first settings and memory Settings, trusted domains, blocked domains, page memory, and history are stored in the browser. • Multiple scoring modes Choose from Balanced, Official, Community, Research, Shopping, Sales, and Reviews modes depending on what type of result you are looking for. • Works with major search engines ProofSearch currently supports Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo search result pages. Privacy and data: ProofSearch is designed to be local-first. Search scoring and local memory are stored in the browser. The extension does not sell user data. Licence checks are only used to confirm access for trial or subscription status. ProofSearch is not a replacement for professional advice, browser security software, antivirus tools, or official scam-reporting services. It is an added search-awareness layer to help users make better clicking decisions.
