The Eagle Nest Improvement Extension.

TENIE (The Eagle Nest Improvement Extension) turns the Eagles Nest home page into a dashboard that shows what you actually need each day: what's due, how your grades look, what's for lunch, and what the weather is doing. Every feature is optional and can be switched on or off in settings. WHAT IT DOES DASHBOARD WIDGETS • Due Soon – See everything due in the next 7 days, plus anything Canvas marks as missing. Finished items are greyed out. • Canvas Calendar – This month's Canvas assignments, right on your home page. • My Grades – Every class with its grade and a color-coded letter, plus an estimated GPA. • Dining Today – Today's Four Winds, Grab N Go and Varsity menus, and whether each one is open right now. • Dark Eye – A quick link to the campus webcams. • Canceled event highlighting – Canceled events show in red and struck through in the Events widget, and postponed events are flagged. GRADE TOOLS • Letter grades – A color-coded letter next to every class and assignment grade on the Class Grades page. • GPA calculator auto-fill – The GPA calculator fills in each class's grade from your current grade, so you don't retype them. ALWAYS-VISIBLE EXTRAS • Weather in the top bar – Pensacola temperature and the beach flag on every Eagles Nest page. • Cleaner menus – The top navigation is restyled so it's easier to scan. The links stay exactly the same. MAKE IT YOURS • Seasonal logos – Christmas, Winter, Valentines, Beach, Spring, Patriotic, Summer, Turtle or Fall. • Custom background – Use any image or GIF. • Hacker theme – A replacement for the gold theme when Eagles Nest is in dark mode. • Eagor personas – Give the Eagor chat assistant a different personality. The chat shows only what you type. CLEAN UP THE NOISE • Hide the Eagor chat button • Skip the "50+ unread emails" popup • Hide Canvas end-of-semester popups WHY INSTALL IT • Everything in one place. Stop clicking between Eagles Nest and Canvas to find out what's due or how you're doing. • Saves time every day. Menus, grades and due dates are on the home page instead of buried in other pages. • You choose what you see. Turn on only what you want. Settings apply instantly with no reloading. • Lightweight and private. TENIE only runs on Eagles Nest, Canvas and the campus webcam page. It has no ads, no tracking and no analytics. YOUR PRIVACY TENIE requests only the "storage" permission to save your settings. Grades and your optional Canvas calendar feed address are kept on your computer and never sent anywhere. TENIE talks only to Canvas (using your existing login), the PCC dining menu system (Nutri slice) and Open-Meteo (for the temperature). GETTING STARTED Click the TENIE icon in your toolbar, switch on the features you want, and open Eagles Nest. For the Canvas widgets, sign in to Canvas in the same browser, or paste your Canvas calendar feed address in settings so they work without opening Canvas.
