HCC Buddy gives risk-adjustment coders a fast ICD-10-CM and HCC reference inside Chrome. Open the side panel next to the browser-based chart or coding workflow you already use. Search by ICD-10-CM code or condition, check HCC mapping, compare V24/V28 context, review RAF details, save notes, and keep a code basket without opening a stack of separate tabs. What you can do in the extension: - Search ICD-10-CM codes and conditions. - See CMS-HCC mapping and RAF context on code cards. - Compare V24 and V28 HCC details. - Ask Buddy ICD-10-CM and HCC questions from HCC Buddy’s allowed reference set. - Save Smart Notes and code basket items for follow-up. - Look up NPI records from the side panel. - Use the drug reference, RAF calculator, guidelines library, and shift tracker. - Right-click a diagnosis term or ICD-10-CM code and open it in HCC Buddy. A good first workflow: 1. Highlight a code or condition. 2. Open HCC Buddy from the right-click menu or side panel. 3. Review the code card, HCC mapping, V24/V28 context, and RAF details. 4. Save the code or note if you need to revisit it. Privacy note: HCC Buddy does not need patient names, MRNs, addresses, or other identifiers for ICD-10-CM and HCC lookup. Use deidentified chart wording only when you paste text into Ask Buddy or uploaded materials. Start with the free install.
