HBOmax Skipper: skip ads, intros & recaps

Hey, everything is working correctly in our tests. I'd like to ask for more details—please let me know what your interface language is set to in MAX and which option is causing issues, as well as on which specific content. Thanks!

It worked for one section of ads and was effective. the intro ad skip and the extra features(skip recap, skip theme song, etc) all work, but everything since has stopped working. please fix. edit: Yes, the only ads it plays are for other max shows and movies. If it is still in progress, I do not mind waiting and appreciate the clarification.

Hey, thanks for your review! It usually has no problem skipping regular ads on shows and movies. I just wanted to ask if you meant ads for other shows or movies on Max? We’re still working on fast-forwarding through those.

Works as described so far-- I have ad-free [HBO]Max and those technically-not-an-ad promos for their own shows were bothering the hell out of me. The first one that showed up about 10 seconds after I installed this extension skipped automatically. Thank you for making this extension.

lifesaver! genuinely thought id have to suffer through the absolute nightmare of having 3-5 ad breaks per episode and each break having 2-3 unskippable ads each! with this it mutes them and turns the screen black, and it hurries the ad timer. makes it so i dont have to wonder if its even worth it to watch the shows i like :]

Skips way too early at the end, as soon as the "next episode" button appears it already moves to the next episode, skipping the important ending because the episode has not finished yet. There is no way to turn off certain skips and only keep ad skipping on, you skip all or nothing. So if you want it to skip ads, you will also skip the end. If you don't want it to skip the ending, you're out of luck.

Hi! Regarding the 'next episode' feature, it's difficult to find a perfect, universal solution; there will always be cases where it activates a bit too early or too late. In the pop-up of the extension, you can freely modify which of the extension's features should be active. Let me know if it works for you! :)
