Overview

See which videos are genuine outliers vs. the channel's own recent average. 100% local — no account, no cloud database.

Raw view counts reward big channels. The outlier multiple rewards videos that beat their own channel's recent norm — that's where the repeatable ideas hide. TubeRecon computes it right on the channel page you're already viewing. WHAT IT DOES • Outlier scores on public channel pages — every video is scored as views ÷ the median views of the 9 videos published before it. Open a channel's Videos tab; the panel computes the scores locally. • Load more — scroll deeper into the archive and find older videos that beat the channel's own baseline. • Watchlist and dashboard — save channels you study and build a local research board of top outliers across the channels you have scanned. • Alerts — optionally rescan watched channels while Chrome is open and badge the toolbar when a new 2x+ outlier appears. • Angle Brief — compare a channel's outliers against its baseline and export a clean HTML brief for later review. • JSON export — export your scanned channel data to a local file. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT TubeRecon keeps research local in your browser: no account, no server, no analytics, and nothing uploaded. It reads public YouTube channel pages that you choose to scan and stores results on your device. Built for creators, channel strategists and marketers who study specific channels and want the receipts, not another dashboard subscription. HONEST LIMITS TubeRecon reads only what is already visible or loaded in your browser on youtube.com. The multiple is a signal that an audience responded — not a guarantee that copying the topic wins. Background rescans run while Chrome is open. View counts are read from the page as displayed, so multiples are approximate by nature.
