Overview
Hawklens candidate-side interview integrity monitor
> HawkLens Monitor is used by hiring teams to check the integrity of remote job > interviews. It is not a general-purpose tool: it does nothing until you enter > an interview token issued by your recruiter and accept the consent notice, and > it stops when the interview ends or when you click Stop Monitoring. > > If you have arrived here without a token from a recruiter, this extension will > not do anything useful for you. > > HOW IT WORKS > 1. Your recruiter sends you an interview link or token. > 2. You install the extension and paste the token into the popup. > 3. You read the consent notice, which lists exactly what is monitored, and > choose whether to agree. Camera analysis is asked for separately and can be > declined on its own. > 4. Monitoring runs for that interview only. The popup shows a clear status the > whole time, and you can stop it at any point. > > WHAT IT MONITORS > - Tab and window switching: how often you switch, and the hostname of the > destination. Full URLs and page titles are not recorded. > - Keyboard activity: how many keystrokes and their timing rhythm. The keys > themselves are never captured. This is not a keylogger. > - Paste and copy activity: how often, and how much text. Pastes of 40 > characters or more are sent for answer-originality analysis. > - Browser environment: signals such as automation flags and virtual camera > devices, used to spot remote-control or virtual-machine setups. > > CAMERA ANALYSIS IS OPTIONAL > If you enable it, video is processed entirely on your own device. Camera > frames are never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Only aggregate eye-contact > and head-movement scores leave your machine. Declining does not stop the > interview. > > WHAT IT NEVER DOES > - No browsing history outside an active interview session > - No page content, form values, or passwords > - No email, chat, or personal messages > - No location tracking > - No advertising, no data sales, no third-party sharing > > Outside a consented interview session the extension collects nothing at all. > > FOR HIRING TEAMS > Signals are summarised as integrity indicators for the interviewer who > scheduled the interview. They are decision support for a human reviewer, not > an automated pass or fail. > > Privacy policy: https://hawklens-web.netlify.app/privacy > Support: https://www.codestride.ai/contact/
