Overview
Thirteen therapy-practice note-taking tools — mood, DBT, CBT, ERP, sleep. Everything stays on your own device.
Haven is a place to keep the notes that therapy asks you to keep. It has thirteen tools, each modelled on a worksheet or log used in documented practice, and each one names the practice it comes from inside the app rather than inventing a framework of its own. You open it in a full browser tab from the toolbar icon, pick a tool, and fill in the form. Six tools are on to start with and the rest are one switch away. Every module also takes rows you add yourself — a target behaviour, a sensation, an urge with a "did you act on it?" checkbox — and those rows validate, chart, export and print exactly like the built-in fields. Turning a module off hides it and never deletes what you wrote in it. On first launch Haven offers a made-up example week across all thirteen tools, so you can see what a filled-in diary card and a real trend chart look like before writing anything yourself. The example is generated in memory and is never written to storage: it cannot be edited, cannot be exported, and there is no sample data left behind to delete afterwards. **The tools** - Mood Log — mood, energy, anxiety and irritability with the context around them - DBT Diary Card — emotions, urges and skills used, in the Linehan diary-card shape - CBT Thought Record — the seven-column cognitive restructuring record - Exposure Tracker — an ERP practice log with distress at start, peak and end - Safety Plan — the Stanley-Brown planning structure, reachable in one click from anywhere - Grounding Library — fourteen techniques with instructions and a before-and-after log - Gratitude Journal, ACT Values Worksheet, Sleep Log with sleep efficiency worked out for you - Task Capture sized by energy, Session Prep, Habit Tracker, and an ABC Trigger Log **Reading and access** Five colour accents in light and dark, four text sizes that scale the whole interface, a higher-contrast mode, an always-underline-links switch, reduced motion, and a switch that turns single-key shortcuts off for anyone using speech input. Every colour pair is checked against the WCAG AA threshold by the build rather than by eye. **Getting your data out** JSON round-trips back into Haven exactly, including your own rows and every entry's original date. CSV opens in any spreadsheet with the entry id and a second-precision timestamp as real columns. The printable views go through your browser's own print dialog. There is also a switch that keeps your written answers out of anything you share, so a document can carry the ratings, dates and ticked skills while the paragraphs stay at home. **Privacy** Nothing you write leaves your device, and that is enforced rather than promised. Haven declares no host permissions, injects nothing into any page you visit, and its own content security policy blocks any network request its pages could attempt. A default install asks for one permission: somewhere to save what you write. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising. That cuts both ways, and it is worth saying plainly: nobody can read your entries, and nobody can recover them either. Clear this browser's data or lose the device and they are gone. Export a backup regularly. **What Haven does not do** It does not screen, score, diagnose or advise. It contains no clinical questionnaires and produces no assessment of your condition. It does arithmetic on your own entries, and arithmetic is not assessment. It is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional, it is not an emergency service, and it cannot contact anyone on your behalf. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. **Support and changes** Questions and problems: dhseadev@gmail.com. Version 0.4.1 adds the read-only example week, redacted sharing, opt-in milestones that only count upward, five colour accents in light and dark, and a printable pack rebuilt to read as a document.
