Overview

Warns you when a website pretends to be one you trust, such as a lookalike or phishing site.

Have I Been Squatted Browser Protection warns you about dangerous sites while browsing. Phishing pages often copy trustworthy sites like banks, shops and sign-in pages to steal passwords and personal information. Many sit on malicious domains, some of which differ by one small change, such as an extra letter, a swapped character, or a letter from another alphabet. Browser Protection checks the names of the sites you open, and of the sites those pages load, with Have I Been Squatted. Main features - A warning at the top of any page Have I Been Squatted flags as dangerous, with a one-click way to leave - Suspicious sites marked on the toolbar, and details for every site you visit in the side panel - Lookalike letters pointed out when a site name uses letters your languages do not use - Optional Gmail and Outlook protection that checks the link and sender domains of each email you open, on your device, and highlights harmful links - Trusted domains, which stop checks and warnings for a domain and its subdomains - Reports for a harmful site or email, or for a result you think is wrong Your privacy comes first. Checks send only site names to Have I Been Squatted, never page content. Page details leave your browser only when you send a report, and you're always in control of what and how much information to share. There is no account to sign-up for, no ads, no tracking and we never sell your information.
