Harpy Eagle English name: Harpy Eagle Scientific name: Harpia harpyja One of the largest and most powerful eagles in the world. Head: Light ash gray, with feathers erected in a crown shape on the top of the head (like erect ears). Face: Dark, slightly brown or dark gray, looks quite fierce. Breast: White, highlighted by a black stripe across the neck like a "necklace". Wings and back: Black-gray, strong and large. Tail: Has alternating white-gray and black stripes, long and thick.
