Overview
A tiny hamster reminds you to take breathing, stretching, posture, and hydration breaks. 100% local, no tracking.
Hammy is a gentle, local-only break reminder. On the interval you choose, a small hamster shows up to guide you through a short breathing, posture, eye-rest, hydration, or stretch break. Choose between a full-screen break that pauses what you're doing or a small floating card that stays out of the way. Why Hammy - Five short guided break types, with random or sequential rotation - Full-screen "freeze" breaks or a non-blocking floating card - Snooze, skip, or start a break early, anytime - Runs entirely on your device, with no account, server, or analytics Permissions - Storage — saves your settings and break history on your device only - Alarms — schedules your next break using Chrome's alarm API - Notifications — shows a system notification when a break starts - Web pages — displays a break overlay on the page you're currently viewing, without opening the extension Privacy Hammy never sends your data anywhere. There are no accounts, analytics SDKs, or network requests. Everything runs locally on your device.
