Hallu Block hides the artificial intelligence features that websites impose on you without askin, and lets you enable them whenever you choose. What the extension hides: • Google AI Overviews, the AI-generated summaries displayed at the top of search results. • Copilot AI answers in the Bing search engine. • DuckDuckGo’s AI assistant. • YouTube’s “Ask” button and AI-generated video summaries. • AI-generated review summaries from Rufus on Amazon. • A button that switches Google back to classic mode: links, and nothing but links. The extension also includes an “anti-slop filter” that removes websites containing AI-generated content from search results, using an open, community-maintained list. Instead, a discreet “AI content hidden” label appears, with a link allowing you to display the AI-generated content. When it comes to privacy, nothing leaves your browser.
