Tab Recorder is a free, local-first Chrome extension for recording browser tab audio, optionally including microphone input, and saving the result directly on your computer. It is built for meetings, demos, lectures, interviews, research sessions, and browser-based audio you want to keep. Tab Recorder uses browser whecapabilities, built-in tools, and local models where available, so recordings, transcripts, and summaries can stay on your own machine instead of being uploaded to a cloud service.
