Keep your web apps running on time, even in background tabs. To save battery, Chrome slows down the JavaScript timers of every tab that is not in the foreground: timers run at most once per second, and after five minutes chained timers can drop to once per minute. Dashboards stop refreshing, monitors miss events, chats and web apps fall behind. HackTimer removes that limit. It moves each page's timers (setTimeout and setInterval) into a background worker that Chrome does not slow down, so they keep their exact timing while you work in another tab.
