Overview

See if a company sponsors H1B visas while browsing LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice and Glassdoor jobs, based on official US DOL LCA data.

See which companies actually sponsor H-1B visas, while you browse jobs on LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, and Glassdoor. H1B Checker puts a small badge next to every company on the job pages you already read, based on official U.S. Department of Labor filing data. You can see whether an employer has sponsored H-1B visas before you spend an hour tailoring your resume. WHERE IT WORKS LinkedIn works the moment you install it. Indeed, Dice, and Glassdoor stay off until you switch them on. Open the extension popup, click Enable next to the board you want, and approve the Chrome permission. Reload that tab and the badges appear. If LinkedIn is all you need, you never have to grant anything else. WHAT THE BADGES MEAN 🟢 Strong H1B sponsor. Recent, sizable H-1B filings in DOL data. 🟡 Has sponsored before. Filings exist, but they are older or few. ⚪ No H1B record. Nothing found in the data. Worth verifying yourself. 🔴 This posting: no sponsorship. The job description itself says this role will not be sponsored. That last badge is the part most tools miss. A company can have a strong sponsorship record and still post roles that are closed to visa candidates. H1B Checker reads the posting text and flags them, so you do not waste an application. It works on all four job boards. WHAT ELSE IT DOES Follow a company in one click and get an email when its sponsorship data changes. Badges appear as you scroll, so there is nothing to click. Works on both the classic and the new LinkedIn jobs layout. Turn scanning off from the popup whenever you want a plain page back, without uninstalling. WHO IT IS FOR International students on F-1 or OPT looking for sponsorship-friendly employers. H-1B holders thinking about a job switch. Anyone who would rather read public filing data than guess. FREE, WITH A QUICK SIGN-UP The extension is free. After a short preview you enter an email address to keep using it. We use that email only to send updates about the data and the tool. No ads, and we do not sell your data. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM Every sponsorship signal comes from public U.S. Department of Labor LCA disclosure filings. We clean and aggregate them into a database, and the extension looks companies up over an HTTPS API. The 🔴 posting badge comes from the job description text on the page itself. PRIVACY Runs on LinkedIn job pages, plus any of the other boards you turn on yourself. Sends the company name that is already visible on the page, so we can look it up. Sends a random install id, which is not tied to who you are, so we can count usage. Stores the email you register and any company you choose to follow. Does not read your LinkedIn profile, messages, cookies, password, resume, or browsing history. Full policy: https://h1bchecker-production.up.railway.app/privacy WHAT IT CANNOT DO A ⚪ badge means we found no recent filings. It does not prove a company will never sponsor. Treat it as one signal, not a verdict. Company names on job boards do not always match the legal entity that files with DOL. We match trade names and aliases where we can, but some companies will not resolve cleanly. This is an information tool built on public data. It is not legal or immigration advice.
