It draws from major canonical sources such as Tự điển Chữ Nôm Dẫn giải (Nguyễn Quang Hồng), Giúp đọc Nôm và Hán Việt (Anthony Trần Văn Kiệm), and Nguyễn Trãi Quốc âm Từ điển (Trần Trọng Dương). With a single click on a Hán Nôm character, users can view its type, Quốc ngữ pronunciation, meaning, and examples drawn from various literary and scholarly sources across multiple Hán-Nôm dictionaries.
