Overview
Fast, clean cookie editor. View, add, edit, delete, import & export cookies. Session profiles switch accounts in one click. No ads.
Guise is a fast, no-nonsense cookie editor and account switcher for developers, QA engineers and power users — with zero ads. Old favorites were removed from the store or bloated with ads after the Manifest V3 shift. Guise is built MV3-native from day one: clean, quick, and asking for as little access as possible. ━━ SESSION PROFILES — SWITCH ACCOUNTS WITHOUT LOGGING OUT ━━ Log into an account, hit "Save current", and Guise stores that whole cookie set under a name you choose. Switch to another profile and the page reloads already signed in as that account — no logout, no incognito window, no second browser profile. • Unlimited profiles, saved per site — on app.example.com you only see that site's profiles. • All sites in one list — every account you ever saved, grouped by site, with search across sites, names and notes. • Notes on a profile, so you remember which login is which. • Open a site straight from the list, already signed in as that profile. • Rename, update or delete a profile at any time. • Switching warns you first if the current session is not saved anywhere yet, with a "don't ask again" option. • Backup every profile of every site to one file, and restore it on another machine. Useful for: testing admin vs regular user, juggling work and personal accounts, QA across multiple test users, agencies handling client accounts. ━━ THE COOKIE EDITOR ━━ • See every cookie for the current site at a glance, with clear flags (Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite, expiry). • Add, edit or delete any cookie in one click — every field editable, no DevTools. • Filter by name or value, and sort by name, expiry or size. • Clear every cookie for a site at once. • Light and dark themes. ━━ IMPORT & EXPORT THAT FITS YOUR TOOLS ━━ • Export as JSON for backups, or as Netscape cookies.txt — the format curl, wget and yt-dlp expect. • Import understands the format on its own: JSON, cookies.txt, or a raw Cookie header string copied from DevTools. • Broken cookies get fixed on the way in instead of failing silently — a SameSite=None cookie without Secure, a host-only cookie carrying a leading dot, an expiry already in the past. Guise repairs them and tells you how many it fixed. ━━ ACCESS, SITE BY SITE ━━ Most cookie editors demand access to every website you visit before they do anything. Guise does not. It ships with no site access at all and asks only for the site you are on, right when you click "Allow on this site". You can grant all sites if you prefer — your choice, not ours. ━━ WHY GUISE ━━ ✓ No ads — ever. ✓ Everything runs locally in your browser — your cookies never leave your device. ✓ Manifest V3 native — future-proof, no surprise removals. ✓ Lightweight and instant: one popup, no dashboards, no account, no sign-up. Coming from another cookie editor? Import your exported JSON or cookies.txt and carry on. Guise is a focused, single-purpose tool. It does one thing — manage your cookies and the sessions they make up — and does it cleanly. Previously published as CookieVault. Same extension, same developer, same extension ID — only the name changed, to something that actually says what it does.
