Guidelane Companion turns any workflow into a step-by-step visual guide — and then runs that guide back for you, interactively, on the recorded website. Record once: click the extension, start a recording, and go through your workflow normally. Guidelane Companion captures a screenshot of every action and records exactly what you interacted with. Stop, review, tidy up if you want, and upload it to your Guidelane workspace as a polished visual walkthrough. Then run it: open any guide you've captured and let Guidelane Companion walk you through it on the real webpage. It spotlights the element you need to interact with and advances as you act. Or hand the wheel over — Autopilot performs the steps for you and pauses whenever you're genuinely needed. WHAT IT DOES Capture — a screenshot per action, with the element, its label and the page URL, assembled automatically into an animated guide. No more screenshotting by hand, cropping, and writing "click here" underneath. Guided Run — run a captured guide on the live site. The next element is spotlighted, the step is explained in place, and it advances as you act. If you wander off, it tells you where you were and offers to take you back. Autopilot — the same run, performed for you. It pauses for anything that needs a human: typing (your values are never recorded, so they can never be replayed), destructive-looking buttons, and anything it isn't confident about. Optional Privileged Mode reduces those approval stops for trusted flows. Self-healing steps — sites change. Companion re-finds elements from several independent signals rather than one brittle selector, so a redesign doesn't break every guide you own.
