Guerrilla Bots I² Recorder
Overview
Record browser workflows for Guerrilla Process Automation. Captures clicks, inputs, and navigation — built for the last mile.
Guerrilla Bots I² Recorder is a browser workflow recorder designed for RPA developers and automation teams. It captures browser interactions as structured workflow steps while providing real-time feedback about the elements and controls being recorded. Interactive Workflow Recording: I² Recorder replaces traditional browser-recording interactions with a simple long-press workflow. Hold an element for approximately half a second to activate the recorder and open its context menu directly on the page. Shift-click provides an immediate alternative for experienced users. During recording, the extension provides visual feedback so users can see when an element is being detected and prepared for recording. Live Element Recognition: The recorder identifies elements as you work with them and displays their detected type through an on-page HUD. This can include controls such as buttons, inputs, dropdowns, and data grids. A live cursor overlay provides additional feedback that the recorder is actively monitoring the current page interaction. Intelligent Table Detection: Modern business applications use many different approaches to render tables and data grids, including custom implementations that do not use standard HTML table markup. I² Recorder uses multiple detection signals to identify tabular interfaces. It evaluates recognizable DOM and CSS characteristics, accessibility roles such as grid and table, standard HTML table structure, and repeating patterns commonly used by custom application grids. When a table is recognized, the recorder can provide a Read Table action instead of treating the interaction as a generic click. This captures the structural information required for workflow automation, including table rows, columns, and headers. Intent-Aware Input Recording: I² Recorder captures the resulting value of an input rather than recording every intermediate edit. For example, when a user types a value and corrects it before leaving the field, the recording captures the final value instead of creating multiple unnecessary steps for the intermediate edits. This keeps recorded workflows cleaner and easier to review and maintain. Record and Act / Dry Run: I² Recorder provides two recording modes: Record — captures interactions and performs the corresponding actions normally. Record and Act — records the interaction while allowing the workflow to be built without immediately executing the corresponding action on the page. The dry-run workflow is useful when building or reviewing an automation where users want to verify the recorded steps before allowing actions to execute against the live application. Designed for Browser Automation: I² Recorder is designed for teams building browser-based automations and RPA workflows. The goal is to make workflow capture more transparent, reduce unnecessary recording steps, and provide useful information about the structure of the application while the workflow is being created. The extension focuses on capturing the intent and structure of a browser workflow rather than simply recording raw mouse and keyboard activity
