Overview

Instant DevTools audit of a page's GTM, GA4, consent (CMP + Consent Mode v2), sGTM and ad pixels. No reload, no setup.

I got tired of squinting at query strings to answer simple questions. Is GTM installed properly? Did consent defaults land in time? What is actually firing on this page? GTM99 is the panel I built for myself: one snapshot, plain verdicts, no page reload. It answers three questions. IS GTM RUNNING? Containers found, standard vs modified snippet, where the loader comes from (Google, first-party gateway, custom), server-side GTM flagged with a confidence label. IS CONSENT SET UP? The CMP named (19 recognized, including Cookiebot, OneTrust, Usercentrics and Didomi), live Consent Mode v2 state, whether defaults were set before tags fired, whether cookieless pings go out when consent is denied. WHAT'S TRACKING THIS PAGE? Google tags plus 16 recognized ad and tag vendors (Meta, TikTok, Bing UET, LinkedIn, Pinterest and more) with hit counts. Batched GA4 hits split per event. Per-event scorecards for consent, CAPI dedup and missing fields. Plaintext-PII alarms. Duplicates with proof. Blocked requests with the reason. SPA route changes on a timeline. And if you want to double check, clicking on "how was this checked?" shows the exact command behind their conclusion, so you can re-run the evidence yourself. HOW TO USE 1. Open DevTools on the page you're auditing. 2. Click the GTM99 tab. 3. Read the snapshot. Copy the report if a colleague needs it. PRIVACY Everything stays in memory on your machine. No accounts, no analytics, nothing leaves your browser. The only things ever saved are your theme choice and a first-run flag. Four themes: Terminal, Modern, Light and Beige. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.1.0 Parser overhaul: hits are now parsed event by event instead of counted, which is what powers the scorecards, dedup checks and PII alarms. Built by Carlos Pinto, digital analytics specialist.
