Overview
Distinct favicons for Google Tag Manager tabs: one colour per container, filled for the container UI, outlined for preview.
If you work in Google Tag Manager, you know the problem: a web container, a server container, and a preview window for each – four tabs, all with the same little GTM icon. Every switch means squinting at tab titles or clicking through until you land on the right one. GTM Tab Marker fixes that. Each container gets its own colour, and its preview window gets the same colour. Container tabs show a solid icon, preview tabs an outlined one, and a letter tells you whether it's a server (S) or web (C) container. The result: you see at a glance which tab belongs to which container – and whether it's the container or its preview. No more guessing, no more opening the wrong tab. Colours are chosen automatically. If you prefer your own, you can pick a colour and a letter for any container on the options page. Works with the Tag Manager UI, Tag Assistant preview, and server-side preview on your own tagging server. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere. Your colour choices are stored in Chrome only.
