PRIVACY FIRST GSC Vault uses read-only Search Console access and Google's drive.file scope, which lets it access only the Drive files it creates or that you explicitly open with it. Search Console performance data is stored in your Drive and cached locally in your browser; it is not sent to GSC Vault servers. Sitemap URLs, page URLs, URL Inspection results, and indexing queues stay in local browser storage and are not written to Drive or sent to a GSC Vault backend. The extension asks for host access only when you choose to read a Sitemap. It sends no site cookies and asks again for cross-origin child Sitemaps. It can prepare and focus Google's Request Indexing control, but you must click the final button yourself; it never bypasses CAPTCHA or quota limits. To retrieve Domain Rating, the extension sends only the normalized site domain to Ahrefs and caches the result locally for 7 days. It never sends Ahrefs your clicks, impressions, queries, pages, Drive files, or OAuth tokens. Anonymous product analytics sends only onboarding, side-panel, sync, and analysis entry events plus a random installation identifier to Google Analytics 4; it never sends site URLs, report contents, Google account data, OAuth tokens, or License Keys.
