Grubby humanizes the text you select on any web page and puts the result back where it came from. No copying into another tab, no pasting back. HOW IT WORKS 1. Select text in a post, an email, a chat, or a document. 2. Click the "Humanize" pill that appears under your selection (or press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+H). 3. Pick a mode, review the result, and click Replace. The result appears in a small card next to your selection. You can replace the original in place, copy it, see exactly what changed, or run it again. Undo puts back exactly what was there. THREE MODES • Academic — recommended for essays, papers, and coursework. • GPTZero — tuned for text that will be checked with GPTZero. • ZeroGPT — tuned for text that will be checked with ZeroGPT. Each mode shows one line of guidance so you know when to use it. WORKS WHERE YOU WRITE Grubby appears on its own in the places students and professionals write most: online document editors, webmail, AI chat assistants, professional networks, and course platforms. On any other site, open the popup and choose "Open Grubby on this page", right-click a selection and pick "Humanize with Grubby", or press the shortcut. You can switch Grubby off per site at any time. GOOGLE DOCS Grubby reads only the text you select, and "Replace in document" writes the result over that selection through Docs' own input, so your undo history and collaborators' changes stay intact. If the document is view-only, the result is copied to your clipboard instead. A SIDEBAR THAT STAYS PUT Grubby opens as a sidebar on the right edge. In a document editor it takes the companion-panel slot and the page reflows beside it. WHAT IT WON'T DO • It never reads a page in the background. Text is sent to Grubby only when you click Humanize. • It never appears over password, one-time-code, or payment fields. • It never reads your clipboard. • It runs only on a small set of writing surfaces unless you open it on a page yourself. Connect the extension from your Grubby account page in one click; the extension never sees your password. Humanizing uses word credits from your plan, and every button shows the price in words before you commit.
