Tells MosaicShell what your browser is playing, including YouTube Music likes. Talks only to MosaicShell on your computer.

Grout is the browser companion for MosaicShell, the Windows desktop shell. It tells MosaicShell what your browser is playing, so MosaicShell's flyouts show the right title, artist and cover, and the like and dislike buttons work, even while the browser window is covered or minimised. What it reports, on YouTube Music, YouTube, Spotify (web player) and SoundCloud: - title, artist, album and cover - playing or paused - on YouTube Music, whether the track is liked or disliked, and pressing like or dislike from MosaicShell Needs MosaicShell. Start MosaicShell once; it sets up Grout's connection for your Windows account. Without MosaicShell, Grout does nothing. Click Grout's toolbar icon to see whether it is connected. Private by design. Grout talks only to MosaicShell, on your own computer. It has no account, no servers, no analytics, no remote code and no host permissions, and it runs only on the four sites above.
