Groundmark
Overview
Checks each sentence of a Google AI Overview against the pages it cites, on your own computer, and shows you the evidence.
Google's AI Overviews cite sources that look like proof. Studies keep finding those sources often don't say what the summary claims. Groundmark checks for you. When an AI Overview appears, Groundmark reads the pages Google cited for each sentence and gives every sentence a verdict: ✅ Supported by its source ❓ Not found in its source ❌ Contradicted by its source ➖ Couldn't check (PDFs, blocked pages) Hover any verdict to see the exact passage from the source, then jump straight to it on the page. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Runs on your computer with Gemini Nano, the AI model built into Chrome - No account, no server, nothing to pay - Your searches never leave your browser - Cited pages are opened without your cookies Groundmark checks whether a cited page supports a sentence, not whether the sentence is true. Verdicts come from a small on-device model and can be wrong, so treat them as a reason to look closer. Computers that can't run Chrome's on-device model get a labeled lite mode instead.
