Overview
Turn long YouTube videos into a chapter-aware listening queue.
Listen to long YouTube playlists without losing your place. Groovyday adds a persistent listening player to Chrome’s side panel. Start a video on YouTube, open Groovyday, and keep playback controls, timestamped chapters, recommendations, and comment previews beside whatever you are working on. Key features: - Control play, pause, seeking, and playlist navigation from the side panel. - Turn timestamps from a video description into a listening queue. - Keep listening while working in another Chrome tab. - Switch between a live mirrored preview and a quieter audio-only view. - Browse recommendations already shown by YouTube without interrupting your current tab. - Preview comments that YouTube has already loaded on the current video page. Groovyday works locally with YouTube tabs in your browser. It has no Groovyday account, analytics service, or developer-operated server. Audio-only mode hides the local mirrored preview; it does not alter YouTube’s source stream or reduce YouTube bandwidth. Groovyday is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
