)Overview
Batch text-to-image, text-to-video, and frame-to-video generation on Grok Imagine. Free, no signup, no telemetry.
**Grok Automata turns Grok Imagine into a bulk generator.** Pick a mode, paste a list of prompts, click Run. Grok Automata drives Grok Imagine (grok.com/imagine) on your behalf — submitting prompts one by one, optionally attaching frame images, and saving every output to your Downloads folder with a predictable filename. ### What it does • **Text → Image mode** — prompts produce stills. Perfect for character sheets, concept art, or any batch where you only need the picture. • **Text → Video mode** — prompts produce videos. Set aspect ratio and duration once, then run dozens of prompts unattended. • **Frame → Video mode** — pair a starting frame image with a prompt to produce a video that begins from that exact image. Images and prompts pair by position in the list. • **Predictable filenames** — outputs land in `Downloads/grok-automata/<job>/<prompt-name>.<ext>`, ready for any downstream pipeline. • **Concurrent dispatch** — configurable parallel prompts, with per-item retry on failure. Failed items can be re-run individually without restarting the whole batch. • **Persistent queue + history** — every batch is preserved with its prompts, files, and timing. Re-run any item or export the manifest. • **Side-panel UI** — runs alongside the Grok Imagine tab so you can monitor the queue without losing the page. ### Privacy No data leaves your machine. No analytics, no telemetry, no remote logging, no third-party scripts. Prompts, settings, and queue state stay in `chrome.storage.local`. Generated images and videos are saved by Chrome's standard downloads API; the extension does not upload, share, or read them after writing. ### Permissions, briefly Grok Automata requests only the permissions it needs to operate Grok Imagine on your behalf: • `sidePanel` — render the control UI alongside the Imagine page. • `storage` and `unlimitedStorage` — persist your prompt queue, settings, and (temporarily, during a run) frame-image bytes for large batches. • `downloads` — save generated images and videos and rename them to match your prompts. • `scripting` — inject the host driver into the open Imagine tab to operate the page (paste prompts, click Run, attach frames, detect completion). The host permission is restricted to `https://grok.com/*` and its CDN subdomains (`*.grok.com`, `*.x.ai`) — the extension does not access any other site. The extension does **not** request `debugger`, `cookies`, `webRequest`, `tabs`, or `<all_urls>`. ### Support For questions or issues, contact meggi_dev at replytomeggi@gmail.com.
