GRN Waypoint is a local-first tab finder for anyone researching, comparing, writing, or building across several browser windows. See every source in the current window, switch to all windows when needed, and find every copy of a URL. Focus the exact tab, safely close unwanted sources, or deliberately save a reviewed source or selected passage to GRN Desk. Key features: - Find and focus tabs by title, site, URL, or window. - Group duplicate URLs without hiding their locations. - Safely close tabs with Undo and Recently Closed recovery. - Restore, export, or delete local browser-window recovery sets. - Keep browser and recovery data local by default. - Explicitly check scholarly sources before saving them. - Review and save selected passages to GRN Desk when connected. - Cancel captures without transmitting the selected passage. GRN connection is optional and user initiated. GRN Waypoint does not index your full browser history, silently observe pages, or automatically transmit browsing activity.
