GRIP! is a browser extension for downloading videos, photos, and music from popular websites. One click, no third-party services, no copy-pasting URLs. The download button is embedded directly into the site's own interface — next to its own "Like", "Save", and "Share" buttons. Icons and buttons look like part of the site: same style, same size, same place. Everything just works — open a page, click, file in downloads. WHERE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD FROM VK: • Download video from VK — any video, group clip, or short • Download videos and clips from DMs and group chats • Download music from VK — any track from My Music, playlists, charts, search results, recently played • Download photos from VK — from the photo lightbox or photo albums Instagram: • Download photos from Instagram — single posts and every slide of a carousel • Download videos from Instagram — regular posts, IGTV, video posts • Download Reels — short videos in one click • Download Stories — photo and video stories, including Highlights Vimeo: • Download Vimeo videos in any quality Pinterest: • Download pins — photos straight from the feed or pin page • Works on boards, related pins, search results Behance: • Download images and GIFs from projects • Download project videos (the ones embedded via Vimeo) Yandex Music: • Download tracks from music.yandex.ru — single tracks from albums, artist pages, search, "Моя коллекция", and the bottom player bar • Download from the Vibe-home context menu — the "Скачать трек" item is added next to the native player actions • FLAC|MP3 • Cover art embedded into the saved file HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension. 2. Open a page with media on a supported site. 3. Click the download button next to the site's own buttons. Done — file in downloads. WHY IT'S CONVENIENT • Free. No ads, no subscriptions, no premium accounts. • Buttons look like part of the site — same style, same size. They don't stand out, don't get in the way, don't duplicate native elements. • No need to copy URLs, no need to know the video format, no need to open separate windows or services. Just click — and it downloads. • Music saves with title, artist, and cover art — looks like a regular track in your player. • Videos save in standard format — play in any video player. • The toolbar icon lets you switch the interface language (English / Russian), turn the extension on or off entirely, or disable buttons on individual sites. PRIVACY • No telemetry. No analytics. No tracking. • Settings and download history stay only on your computer — nothing is sent anywhere. • Files download directly from the source site. FROM THE AUTHOR This extension is made by one person — not a company, not a team. I originally wrote it for myself, to combine several extensions into one, but apparently other people find it useful too. So I'm publishing it here for you. If something breaks or doesn't work right — write me, I'll fix it (if it's actually fixable). Ideas, suggestions, and requests for new sites are welcome too.
