Would love to use this if the Quick Start guide made any sense to anyone who isn't a developer.

I don't know how to self-host an app on my PC, but I'd be more than happy to pay to install a Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone app that stores bookmarks locally and syncs them too.

The only bookmark manager I know that relays screenshots and metadata through the browser API versus through an external scraper. This lets you save page data on content that requires authentication to view, or content that's sitting behind a proxy that your browser can see but a server cannot.
