GridSail — Web Tables to Excel

Capture web tables, combine pages, remove duplicates, and export Excel or CSV locally. Keep leading zeros and long IDs intact.

The report is right there. The export button isn’t. GridSail turns tables already displayed on a webpage into a clean spreadsheet, without an account or cloud upload. • Find HTML tables and accessible ARIA tables/grids in the main webpage • Choose which columns to export • Remove duplicate rows from the selected columns • Add matching tables to a local collection, page by page, with exact-header checks and duplicate skipping • Undo the most recent collection change, including Clear • Download a real Excel .xlsx file with frozen headings and filters • Download UTF-8 CSV or copy tab-separated cells • Keep leading zeros, long identifiers and formula-like content as literal text in Excel • Switch between English and Chinese HOW TO USE 1. Open a normal webpage containing a table 2. Click the GridSail toolbar icon and choose the detected table 3. Keep the columns you need and export Excel, CSV or clipboard text 4. For multiple pages, add the current table to the collection, close the popup, navigate the original webpage, then reopen GridSail and add the next table LOCAL DATA, LIMITED ACCESS Table detection runs only after you invoke the extension. Candidate table text and structure, the current page title and source origin are processed locally. Only collections explicitly added by you and one Undo record persist in local browser storage. Current-page results remain in popup memory. No table uploads, analytics SDKs, remote scripts or background browsing. No access to password fields, form-control values, cookies or browsing history. CLEAR LIMITS Reads rendered HTML and ARIA tables in the main frame only. No image/PDF OCR, canvas capture, embedded-frame capture, automatic pagination or hidden-row recovery. Virtualized tables include currently rendered rows only. Capture is bounded to 30 candidate tables, 100,000 cells, 10,000 rows and 100 columns; known truncation is indicated. A collection is limited to 10,000 rows and 4 MB. All Excel cells are exported as text; convert numeric columns in your spreadsheet if you want to calculate with them. Potentially executable CSV/clipboard formulas are prefixed with an apostrophe. CSV applications may still auto-format identifiers; use Excel export when preserving IDs matters.
