Gridhunt: tiles and squares on route maps

Your Gridhunt tiles and squares on Strava, Komoot, MapMyRide and Google Maps. Map overlay, no tracking.

See your Gridhunt tiles on the maps you already plan with. Gridhunt turns your rides into map tiles (the standard zoom-14 grid, about 1.6 km) and finds your biggest square. This extension draws your own tiles, your current biggest square and your planned square right on top of the route planners you use: • Strava (Maps and the route builder, routes, activities) • Komoot (planner and tours) • MapMyRide (route creator and routes) • Google Maps Plan a route that fills the gap, without switching tabs. Each layer can be turned on or off from the small Gridhunt panel on the map. Send to Gridhunt: on a Strava route, one click saves it to your Gridhunt routes (uses the Strava connection in your Gridhunt account). Privacy: on supported map pages the extension reads the map position (centre and zoom) to draw the overlay and the current page address to recognise a Strava route. On Strava, Komoot and MapMyRide it also reads the planned or viewed route line locally to highlight the new tiles it would add; the route geometry is not stored or sent. Google Maps does not support route-line reading. It does not read your activities or profile there. A route ID is sent to Gridhunt only when you click Send to Gridhunt. Your own tiles come from Gridhunt with a device token you can revoke at any time in Gridhunt → Settings → Devices. No analytics, no tracking. Requires a free Gridhunt account (gridhunt.app).
