GridClip exports visible HTML tables on the tab you invoked it on. Click the toolbar icon, pick a table, and download CSV — or copy TSV that pastes into columns in Excel and Google Sheets. All parsing and file generation run on your device. Table contents are not uploaded to GridClip or Polar. Free: one-table CSV download, and Copy table (tab-separated, for spreadsheet paste). Paid, $36/year via Polar (merchant of record — not Google): Excel .xlsx, export all visible tables (zip of CSVs or a multi-sheet workbook), nested-table flatten, and Alt+Shift+E to export the largest visible table. What it does - Lists visible HTML tables on this tab (hidden and zero-size tables are skipped) - Defaults to the largest table - Expands colspan/rowspan to a rectangle (value in the top-left of the span; other spanned cells empty) - CSV downloads use RFC 4180-style quoting and a UTF-8 BOM - Copy table puts TSV on the clipboard so commas inside cells stay in the cell - Context menu: "GridClip: export this table" - Paid: SpreadsheetML .xlsx built on-device (column widths capped), multi-table zip / multi-sheet, nested tables flattened as TSV-in-cell What it does not do - It does not run in the background on - It does not send page contents, table data, or browsing history to a server - It is not an AI product - Google does not sell this extension or process the paid subscription Price and seller - Free features work without an account - Paid features: $36 USD per year, billed by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record.
