Uses The Green Web Foundation’s verified dataset, ensuring reliable information on providers that actively reduce, avoid, or offset emissions from electricity use. Already on a website? Open the extension’s popup to check if it’s running on green energy. View the hosting provider, energy status, and supporting information—all in one place. Run a Carbon Analysis to calculate the emissions from reloading a page. Get an easy-to-read rating (A+ to F) comparing its carbon footprint against others. 🌱 About Us GreenCheck was founded in Scotland in June 2024 to make the invisible energy impact of the web easier to understand. Our mission: help people make more informed choices about the websites they visit and the energy sources powering them.
