Overview

Tells you which games are free right now on Epic, Steam, GOG and others, and remembers which ones you already took.

Gratis tells you which games are being given away right now on Epic Games, Steam, GOG, itch.io and other stores, and -this is the important part- it remembers which ones you already took. WHAT IT DOES DIFFERENTLY Similar tools all have the same problem: they remember nothing. Every time you open them they offer you the same games again, and you end up with fifteen tabs open on things you already had. Here every game has two buttons. "Claim" opens that game, only that one, and marks it as done. "Not interested" takes it off the list without opening anything. Neither one comes back, and if you change your mind you can put it back on the list whenever you want. WHAT YOU SEE - The games that are free right now, soonest to expire first. - How long is left on each offer, in red when it is down to hours. - The normal price crossed out, so you know what you are getting. - A filter by store, with the ones available that day and how many games each one has. - Epic's upcoming ones, announced days in advance. WHEN IT TELLS YOU When the browser starts, if you have something pending, and at the exact moment one promotion expires and the next one takes over. One notice a day at most, unless a new game shows up: if you decide to ignore something, it does not nag you about it. The green number on the icon is how many games you have left to look at. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM From Epic directly, which knows its own giveaways best and gives exact dates. And from GamerPower for the other stores. When a link goes through a middleman, the card says so before you click. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - It does not claim for you. Claiming blindly fills your library with things you did not want, and that cannot be undone. - It does not go into the pages you visit. It does not ask for a single permission over them. - It does not collect anything about you. What you mark stays on your computer. - It does not know what you already own on Steam or Epic: it remembers what you marked, which solves the same thing without asking you for access to anything. It needs the browser open to tell you. It is an extension, not a service.
