Drag horizontally for frequency, vertically for gain. Click a point and its settings open right next to it — filter shape, frequency, gain, Q. Double-click and it snaps back to flat. High-pass and low-pass live on the same curve. While they're off, their response sits there as a faint dashed line, so you can see where the cut will land before you commit to it. One click and it joins the curve. Controls Points 1 2 3 — The EQ bands. Drag for frequency and gain, click for the settings panel. Shape buttons switch between bell, low shelf and high shelf; the active one glows. Gain runs -24 to +12 dB, Q from 0.3 to 6. H and L — High-pass and low-pass, always on the curve. Horizontal drag only; they have no gain. 12 or 24 dB/oct, both true Butterworth. Bypass — Takes the whole EQ out of the path. Crossfaded, so A/B is instant and silent. Spectrum — Live analyser behind the curve. Turn it off when you would rather trust your ears. Trim — Output level, sitting as a fader over the meter. The control to reach for when matching against bypass. Double-click returns it to 0 dB. Preset — Five to start with: Flat, Speech/Podcast, Bass Boost, Late Night, Laptop Speakers.
