Graphcal for GitHub
Overview
Open Graphcal sheets from GitHub in the Graphcal viewer, read with your GitHub sign-in.
Graphcal for GitHub opens Graphcal sheets (.gcl) stored on GitHub in the Graphcal viewer at graphcal.org, using the GitHub sign-in already in your browser. There is no token to create or paste: any repository you can open on github.com, private ones included, you can open in the viewer. How to use • On a .gcl file's page on github.com, press the toolbar button to open that file in the viewer. • On a repository's root or a folder page, the button opens the first .gcl file there, and the viewer's explorer lists the rest. • In the viewer, switch branches and compare two branches to see what changed. How it works The viewer asks the extension for files, and the extension fetches them from github.com the same way a GitHub page does. Sheets are evaluated in your browser, in WebAssembly. Repository contents are never sent to graphcal.org's server or anywhere else. Privacy • Only pages on graphcal.org can ask the extension to read a repository. • The extension connects only to github.com and raw.githubusercontent.com. • It stores nothing and collects no analytics. Limits • github.com only (GitHub Enterprise Server is not supported). • The viewer's branch menu lists branches; tags and pull requests are not listed.
