Grammar Check SLM fixes grammar, spelling, and punctuation entirely on your device. Your text never leaves the browser — there are no servers, no accounts, and no tracking. FEATURES • 100% private — every check runs locally on your machine. • Chrome built-in AI first — uses the Prompt API (Gemini Nano) when your browser supports it: nothing to download and extremely efficient. • Local model fallback — Alibaba's Qwen3 (0.6B / 1.7B) via Transformers.js, accelerated with WebGPU and a WASM fallback, so it works offline after the first download. FLAN-T5 is available for maximum compatibility. • Works where you write — rich-text editors (contenteditable), textareas, and text inputs. • Non-destructive highlights — wavy underlines that never move your cursor. • Built-in editor — paste text into the popup for an instant diff and one-click copy. • Right-click to correct — select text anywhere to fix it in place. • Configurable — choose the engine, model, acceleration, typing delay, which fields to check, and which sites to run on (allow-list or deny-list).
