GradeWise Assistant
Overview
Batch Google Classroom grading with teacher review, confidence checks, draft-grade writeback, and SIS-ready exports.
GradeWise Assistant helps educators review written student work with a rubric, create actionable feedback, and identify class-wide learning patterns—while keeping the teacher in control. Start from the current browser tab, paste a response, or upload supported files. Choose a built-in rubric, create and save custom criteria, or grade from assignment directions. GradeWise provides suggested criterion scores, evidence from the student response, strengths, areas for improvement, actionable student-facing feedback, and a concise teacher diagnostic. Key features: • Teacher review and approval before any result is added to the GradeWise gradebook • Named class rosters and conservative student matching • Essays, short answers, math explanations, science responses, and social studies responses • Reusable rubrics, optional point values, and feedback style controls • Session-based gradebook, student profiles, class trends, misconceptions, and suggested groups • Editable modified assignments and enrichment work based on approved insights • Reviewed CSV exports for common gradebook workflows • Card-free 14-day GradeWise AI trial and a local Demo mode GradeWise does not automatically post grades or comments to Google Docs, an LMS, or a student information system. Teachers must review every suggestion and validate exported files before import. BATCH REVIEW AND QUALITY CONTROL Review approved grading results in one place before anything reaches a gradebook: • Flag missing feedback, missing evidence, uncertain analysis, student-match issues, invalid totals, and unusual scores • Search and filter by students who need attention, scores below 60%, or scores at 90% and above • Run a safe-release preflight for student matches, score boundaries, feedback, and unresolved flags • Download a review report for auditing and school records FASTER, CONSISTENT FEEDBACK Save frequently used teacher comments to a reusable feedback bank, insert them during review, and tailor them for each student. Calibration tools help teachers compare scoring decisions and refine rubrics before releasing results. CLASSROOM AND SIS WORKFLOWS Import supported Google Classroom courses, rosters, assignments, and student work; create teacher-initiated draft-grade updates only after review; and prepare SIS-ready exports. GradeWise never releases grades automatically.
