Overview
Paste grades from Excel or Sheets and write them as drafts to the open Classroom assignment.
GradeImp copies grades from a spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) into an assignment that already exists in Google Classroom, without creating a new one. Open the assignment, go to "Student work" and press the "Import grades" tab on the right of the page. Paste the columns from your sheet, choose which ones are the name and the grade, and press "Import". Grades are saved as drafts, so you can review them before returning them. Main features: • Matches names even when they are in a different order or a surname is missing, and asks you to check before writing anything if in doubt. • Does not overwrite existing grades unless you ask it to, and warns you if a grade has already been returned. • Flags grades above the assignment's maximum points. • Shows the assignment's grades so you can copy them to a spreadsheet. • Can clear the assignment's grades. • Works in Catalan, Spanish and English, following Classroom's language. Privacy: names and grades are only used in your browser. GradeImp does not send them to any server, uses no analytics and only runs on classroom.google.com. The assignment must have points. GradeImp is not an official Google tool: it writes directly on the Classroom page, so we recommend trying it first on a test assignment.
