Overview

Manually refresh a tab's rendering when visual artifacts or stale regions appear.

GPU Repaint Helper requests a fresh compositor frame for the current tab. Use it when part of a page stops refreshing, leaves a stale region, or shows a temporary GPU rendering artifact. How to use it: 1. Open the extension popup when the current page looks visually stuck. 2. Select "Refresh rendering", or press Alt+Shift+R. 3. The extension briefly refreshes the current tab's visual layer without reloading the page. - Refresh rendering from the extension popup. - Use Alt+Shift+R for quick access. - Built for Chromium-based desktop browsers and tested in Chromium and Vivaldi. - Runs only after an explicit user action. - Does not track activity, contact external servers, or collect browsing history. - Uses only the activeTab and scripting permissions. This is a targeted rendering workaround. It does not change GPU drivers or browser settings, and it cannot guarantee a fix for every graphics-driver issue.
