GoTest Chrome Extension helps QA engineers and developers record user interactions on web applications and convert them into automated UI test scenarios for the Go Test platform. How it works: The extension runs only when you explicitly start a recording session from the extension popup. During an active recording session, it captures interactions needed to generate test steps (e.g., clicks, typing, navigation events). It may read the active tab’s URL and page title to associate steps with the correct page and to support multi-tab test flows. If you enable optional network recording, it can capture request/response metadata required to generate load/API testing artifacts. Data & privacy: Recording state and user preferences are stored locally using chrome.storage.local. We do not sell user data.
